Business Driver: As a Frenchman living in London, Jean manages ARTE Generali, the art
insurance company founded in November 2019, from Munich, headquarters to Generali
Deutschland. His vision is to position ARTE Generali worldwide as a life-time partner: Guided
by the individual needs of its customers he intends to set new standards at the intersection
of digitisation and art.

Hans-Peter Klebe was born on 09.03.1963 in Frankfurt am Main.
After completing his school education in Rheinfelden/ Baden in Baden, Mr. Klebe studied business administration / insurance at the former University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
For the first years of his professional career, he worked for the Liability Association of German Industry. The focus at HDI was primarily on the property, engineering and marine divisions and later on the management of a unit in southern Germany.
From 1993 onwards, Mr. Klebe spent the following years at AXA and the various predecessor companies. Mr. Klebe has held various positions of responsibility in the operation and sales of industrial insurance. In addition to various stays abroad. The business focus was primarily on industrial lines and international business. He also has experience in Art Insúrance Business during his engagement with Nordstern and AXA Art units. For this segment, Mr. Klebe headed the Southern Germany region with several locations and was a member of the Executive Board Industrial Business of AXA Insurance in Germany.
Since 2016, Mr. Klebe has been responsible for setting up Generali's industrial insurance in Germany. Since then, he has headed the newly founded Generali Global Corporate & Commercial in Germany.
Mr. Klebe lives with his family in Munich and in his free time he likes to travel and play golf.
With a background in art history and law, Iris Handke combines her passion for art with almost 20 years of experience in the international art insurance business. In her role as Chief Underwriting Officer and International Business Manager at ARTE Generali, Iris Handke is responsible for international underwriting of private and commercial art insurance and risk management. She will also drive ARTE Generali's expansion into other countries.
Finance Expert: Daniele is responsible of Finance for Arte Generali GmbH, all its subsidiaries
and branches. He is also in charged of monitoring the technical performance of all ARTE
business’ underwritten world-wide by Generali.
Networker: Leonie's task is to position ARTE Generali through national and international
marketing activities as a leading player and to network it within the art world. With her
background in the cultural sector, Leonie has been responsible for communications for
renowned art institutions in the past.
Organiser: Bernd supports the management, ensures smooth internal processes and improves them.
He is also responsible for the procurement process and administers the internal IT processes.
Growth mindset thinker and ruthless adventurer with a keen interest in sustainable change. Academic background in Philosophy and Business administration with +7 years of experience in Strategy, Innovation, and Communication.
Maurizio, has a long experience in the insurance business, initially as a developer of management software, working for various insurance companies. In 2021 he joined ARTE Generali in the role of Digital & IT Development Manager to develop the underwriting applications, the Web presence and the digital App for ARTE Generali.
